We loved finding sarees on social media, but we didn’t always enjoy the shopping experience.

Too often, the price was hidden behind a DM. By the time we asked, the saree we liked might already be sold. And when photos did not show enough detail, it was hard to feel confident about the fabric, finish or quality.

Ishwari Silks is our answer to the saree-shopping experience we wanted: thoughtfully chosen pieces, prices shared upfront, honest presentation and clear availability—so you can spend less time chasing information and more time falling for a saree.

That instinct—the one that stopped us in front of a shop window in Namma Bengaluru, looking twice at an unexpected border or a color combination we couldn’t forget—is what we bring to picking every piece. We just wanted the buying experience to finally match it.

Ishwari Silks is a Bay Area-based online Indian saree boutique serving customers across the USA. Our changing collection includes chiffon, Mysore silk, Banaras, raw silk, viscose and festive sarees, with each listing using the most specific product details we can verify.

Prices and availability are displayed upfront—no hidden prices and no need to DM just to ask how much. Every saree includes a stitched blouse with fall and pico completed. Applicable sales tax is included in the displayed price, with free West San Jose pickup by appointment only or flat $10-per-saree U.S. shipping.

Two sisters, one shared love

Ishwari brings together our shared love of beautiful sarees and two very different perspectives.

We work with small, women-run businesses in India. Their eye, enterprise and love for sarees are part of every collection we bring to you.

We’re multilingual Bengaluru girls whose Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English occasionally get tangled these days.

But we speak saree fluently.
